Bowerbirds believes in sustainability and that's why we make sofas that are built to last and provide the option of eco-friendly components; such as cushion fillings that contain fibre made from recycled plastic bottles as well as a huge choice of recycled fabrics.
In addition to this, we also offer a professional reupholstery service for your existing sofas, chairs and footstools. All you need to do is contact us with the width, depth and height measurements (in centimetres if possible), let us know if there are any problems with the springs or if the cushions need replacing, and send us a photo of your item. We will then give you an estimated cost of the reupholstery and advise how many metres of fabric you will require to have your item recovered.
You'll then need to come into our Bowerbirds Chelmsford Showroom for a leisurely look at our fabulous fabric selection or give us an idea of what you'd like and we can send you fabric samples.
Once you've chosen your fabric we will be able to give you a full cost for your consideration, which includes both collection and delivery of your sofa, chair or footstool.
Please note that if the upholsterer finds additional problems once the existing cover is removed, we will contact you to advise of any additional work or replacements parts required.
Payment for the fabric must be made in advance, whilst payment for reupholstery will be required on completion. You may be charged for collection and delivery if you live outside the Chelmsford area. This will include ULEZ and Tolls.
