It began life in 2012 when it’s founder, Ali Holman, decided to combine her knowledge and experience as a fashion and retail buyer, with her passion for design and interiors.
Bowerbirds started out as an interior design company that looked after clients in their own homes ~ providing premium quality products at competitive prices, with a focus on exceptional customer service and a desire to create rooms that reflected our customers personalities.
In 2019 Bowerbirds launched its first mail order catalogue and on line-shop, which sold all our favourite and best selling items.
Now in 2020, we hope to open our first show room, which will display items from our new furniture collections as well as our new and gorgeous British made upholstery.
At Bowerbirds, we believe that everyone deserves a home that they can relax and be themselves in, and so with the launch of our new and improved website, we pledge to give 10% of all our profits, to support children who are leaving the care system to set up on their own and begin their lives again in a new home.
When you use our design services, we offer to refund you the design cost against any purchases made, but you can choose to donate this fee to our cause, and you'll still get your online discount.
